The working principle of high temperature check valve is revealed

The working principle of High Temperature Check Valve is based on a simple and ingenious design: it relies on the flow of the medium itself to automatically open and close the valve disc, thereby realizing the function of preventing the medium from flowing back. When the medium flows in the normal direction, the pressure generated by it pushes the valve disc, so that it overcomes its own gravity and spring force (if there is a spring assist), thereby opening the valve and allowing the medium to pass smoothly. At this time, the valve disc is like being gently lifted by an invisible force, making way for the flow of the medium.
Once the medium has a tendency to flow back, the flow direction changes, and the pressure difference on both sides of the valve disc is reversed. Under the combined effect of the pressure of the backflowing medium and the gravity of the valve disc itself, the valve disc quickly falls back and fits tightly on the valve seat, completely closing the channel and preventing the medium from flowing back. This is like a solid barrier that effectively blocks the impact of the backflowing medium and ensures the safe and stable operation of the entire pipeline system.
According to different structures, High Temperature Check Valve is mainly divided into two types: swing type and lift type, and there are some obvious differences in their working methods. The disc of the swing high-temperature check valve is like a door, connected to the valve body through a hinge mechanism, and can rotate around the rotating axis of the valve seat channel. When the medium flows forward, the fluid pressure pushes the disc to rotate around the axis and open, just like a door is pushed open. The channel inside the valve is streamlined, and the flow resistance of the medium is small. Moreover, in the fully open state, the fluid pressure is almost unimpeded, and the pressure drop is relatively small. It is suitable for large-caliber occasions with low flow rate and infrequent flow changes. However, if it is used in pulsating flow conditions, frequent pressure fluctuations will cause the disc to open and close repeatedly, which is easy to cause wear of the disc and the seat, affecting the sealing performance and service life.
