1. Mechanical properties
Bronze valves are made of copper and are alloyed by adding tin, aluminum and other elements. This alloy has high mechanical strength and hardness and can withstand high pressure conditions, such as ship fuel systems and chemical pipelines. The grain structure of the bronze alloy has been optimized. For example, phosphorus can refine the grains, which significantly improves the service life of the valve in frequent opening and closing or vibration environments.
2. Corrosion resistance
Alloys such as nickel-aluminum bronze show excellent corrosion resistance to seawater, chloride and sulfate environments, and are therefore suitable for ship seawater cooling systems and ballast water systems. In addition, bronze valves can withstand weak acids, weak alkalis and oil media, but their performance will be affected in strong acid environments (such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid).
3. Wear resistance
Bronze has good wear resistance and is particularly suitable for scenes with high particle media or frequent friction, such as lubrication systems and petrochemical pipelines. Its wear resistance helps reduce wear on the inner wall of the valve and extend the service life of the valve.
4. High temperature stability
Bronze valves can still maintain stable performance in high temperature environments (≤250°C). Due to its low thermal conductivity, it can effectively reduce the impact of thermal stress on valve sealing, thereby ensuring the reliable operation of the valve in high temperature environments.
5. Design and processing characteristics: The precision casting process makes the bronze material show good liquid fluidity, which is particularly suitable for manufacturing valve components with complex structures (such as filter screens and valve bodies) to ensure excellent sealing and high-precision filtration.
Maintenance convenience: Split design, such as removable filter cartridges, makes cleaning or replacing filters more convenient, thereby effectively reducing maintenance costs.
6. Applicable scenarios:
Industrial field: This material is widely used in the petrochemical industry (for corrosion-resistant media), the power industry (for high-temperature steam) and water treatment systems (for filtering impurities).
Marine systems: It also has significant applications in seawater pipelines, fuel control and ballast water management.
Civilian field: It is suitable for filtering water supply systems and intercepting impurities generated by mechanical equipment in commercial equipment.
:Bronze valves, with their high strength, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, can perform well in high pressure, corrosive and high temperature environments, so they are widely used in many fields such as shipping, chemical industry, water treatment, etc.
